my week

it was a bad week for me mentally....worried about my sister!
I did finish 3 6x6 square in crochet
I did not sleep from Sunday until Thursday night. I am babysitting 2 puppies for Tim & Andrea.....last night they were up all night. Now that i am up-they are asleep--figures
Our neighbor lost their little dog named Dixie yesterday! She will be dearly missed!
I got to talk to Michael.....he said grammy.....at least it's 1/2 way to grandma! LOL
well, I guess that's it for now!

A rainy & cool day in WV

All it did was rain most of the today. Bob & I went shopping in Man to get a few things for the house.

I did not find 1 item that I have been looking for 3 weeks to finish up a birthday gift. So, I do not know what or how I am going to make it.

It was damp and cool here....the dogwoods are blooming and we are under a freeze warning for Monday night and morning. Last week it was hot--like summer and now it's going to be cold for a day! I am hoping that it kills some of the bugs and maybe the snakes want go back under ground to stay warm! We have already had a few snakes around our house.

I am almost finish with my niece's crochet ripple afghan that is getting VERY HEAVY because i am using 3 strands of yarn. I will have it done in a couple of days...thank goodness then I will return to work on my sister's corn cob stitch afghan. 

I have not been sleeping very good. Only a few hours a night. Tomorrow hubby is getting up at 5 am....I am tempted to sleep on the couch that way I will not bother him. He has had a migraine all day.

So, tomorrow night i will be bringing back in all of my pots including my strawberry pot that Bob got me when we were in NC a few weeks ago. Then I will be covering up my bulbs and etc that are in my flower beds.

I think that I need a bigger chair

Every time that I go back to my I have 2 of my 3 furbabies sitting next to me on a chair with a pillow that I had made for them to lie on......but for the last couple of days the 3rd puppy wants to be on the chair with the other 2. The chair is not that big, but they all lie there until I get up or they have to go outside to go potty. Below is a picture of the 3 of them laying on the chair!

It's a good thing that 2 of them are kind of small, but the white one named Bridgette is the biggest and she is the one that now she wants up there. Things that we do for our furbabies! LOL

Making 2 new afghans

The first afghan is for my niece......it is a crochet ripple done with 3 strands of yarn so she will be nice a warm for her first new home. It is done in the brown tones that her mom told me that will match her living room furniture.

 





The second afghan is for my sister.....the colors are Blue and Yellow for WVU! This one is done in the corn cob stitch afghan. It will be light enough for her legs but warm enough to keep her warm when she is lying on the couch.This one is 1/3 finish....maybe she will get it for her birthday or for Christmas which is 3 days later! LOL

hurting so bad

Bob and I celebrated 30 years of being married in February....we could not go away, exchange cards, or anything. there were only a few people that remembered that it was our Anniversary.....30 years is a lot of years compared to 3 years, 5 years, or even 10 years. I am so hurt right now......everyone wants to me to go to Florida...well, my sister's marriage is not doing to hot either. So, I am stuck here with no one to talk to cause the one that I could always talk has stopped talking to me. And I will get the blame for that too!
That month was real hard on me! but I am suppose to act like nothing ever happened! Well, I got news for you....the ones that have hurt me will not hurt me again. I will not let them do that again or even trust them anymore!
My memory is gone and I have to write everything down now. and it is not getting any better either. so, maybe I will not remember last month at all.
March is here and my oldest son is turning 29 years old, my youngest will be turning 28 years old, and my grandson Michael will be 2 in May! so happy days are around the corner for me.
